Ride Leader Training – 7th October 2026

The Alton Cycling Club Committee is funding 7 places on a, Cycling UK provided, Club Rider Leader Training course.  The aim is to provide experienced riders with the additional skills to safely lead club ride both here in the UK and abroad.  Those completing the training will be expected to pass on their knowledge to other riders during weekly club rides.  Additionally, it is anticipated there will be an opportunity to provide a small presentation during a later club social evening to pass on the key training messages.

Location

The training course will start and finish at Veloline in Farringdon.

Timings

Course starts at 10:00hrs and is expected to finish by 14:30 hrs.

Facilities

We will use the Veloline office for pre-ride training and post-ride debriefs.  Additionally, Veloline have agreed to provide coffee and cake for those attending from their in-store coffee shop.  Any additional food you may […]

1st Saturday of each month – 30-40km ride out from Veloline’s shop, a non-stop ride with coffee at Veloline (but please check ride calendar online for details / changes to this)

Club 100-Miler to Salisbury: Sunday 19th July 2026
