Jim Woods Memorial Audax 2026

On 6th July 2025, Alton CC supported a fourth Audax event in memory of our club member, Jim Woods, who tragically died of a brain tumour in 2020. This follows the success of the 2022, 2023 and 2024 events, which together raised over £3,700 for Brainstrust, a charity that supports people suffering with a brain tumour.  The 2026 Jim Woods Memorial Ride will take place on 12th July and details of how to enter can be found here.  For 2026, Alton Cycling Club have partnered with a prominent local charity, Cardiac Heath.  You can find more about them here.

A few reminders of fixed date events for 2026 (with more to come!):

1st Saturday of each month – 30-40km ride out from Veloline’s shop, a non-stop ride with coffee at Veloline (but please check ride calender online for details / changes to this)
